Revisting the Words of Moshe Feiglin

The following article was posted on our blog some months ago.  Due to recent events we feel it’s important to revisit the timely words of our friend Moshe Feiglin.  As we are now mere weeks from the September 20th gathering at the UN to take up the question of a Palestinian state, we must be under no delusions of what designs Fatah and Hamas have for the sovereignty of Israel and what awaits her people if we stand by and let the barbarian horde overtake us.

The Holocaust Yet to Come

by Moshe Feiglin

This article is not about the Holocaust that happened. It is about the Holocaust that is liable to come knocking on our door. If you are weak of heart, stop reading now. But if you are staying with me, please take a deep breath, forget about secondary political issues and internalize what I am writing. The trains to Auschwitz did not have separate cars for Right and Left, Haredi and secular.

It is popular to pontificate on the lesson of the Holocaust. Every person takes the Holocaust to the place that is comfortable for him. I would like to discuss a very basic lesson that I have never seen disproved: The Western world will not try too hard to close down the gas chambers. Not only that. It will even indirectly stoke them.

True, after the Holocaust, in a rare moment of good will, the world voted to partition the Land of Israel and to recognize the fledgling Jewish state. But this recognition had no practical implications. Seven Arab armies invaded the tiny area allocated to Israel. The world did not lift a finger. The Egyptian army got to within thirty kilometers of Tel Aviv, murdering and destroying every person and settlement in its path. They cut through the Negev and reached Beit Lechem. The Jordanians were just twenty minutes away from Israel’s coast. The Syrians captured Mishmar Hayarden – and destroyed it, of course.

Three years after the Holocaust, the Western world waited once again for the Arabs to finish off the dirty work. It did nothing to help Israel. But then, with G-d’s loving grace, the situation turned around. The nascent IDF stopped the Arab armies. On the southern front, Yigal Alon commanded over some brilliant maneuvers that more or less eliminated the Egyptian army. The IDF forces got all the way to El Arish inside Egypt.

When that happened, Britain threatened that if the IDF would not retreat, it would invade Israel. America pressured, Ben Gurion gave in and the new norm was set: When the Jews are in danger, the world waits patiently. When they start to win, the world stops them.

The Western world – upon all its beauty and advantages – will always act as a static anvil for the murderous hammer descending upon the Jews from above – be it the Nazi hammer, the Arab hammer or any other murderous, anti Jewish hammer.

The time when we will have to decide if we are willing to entrust our fate to the very same West that will always be happy to be rid of the “Israel Problem” is rapidly approaching. We see ourselves as an inseparable part of the Western world. It is difficult for us to accept that the West, our cultural patron, will simply close its eyes with relief when six million Jews in Israel will once again be facing wholesale slaughter.
But that is precisely the direction that events are taking. The only difference between 1948 and today is that then we were a rabbit that thought it was a lion and today we are a lion that thinks it is a rabbit. In 1948, our physical weakness invited invasion. Today, our mental weakness invites invasion.

What invasion am I talking about? If we were not living in denial, the media would be abuzz about Samantha Power, head of the National Security Council, who advocates taking the funds that the US now invests in the IDF and investing them instead in the ‘Palestinian’ army. In no uncertain terms, she discusses a possible US invasion of Israel – to keep the peace, of course. When that goal is accomplished, Power advocates leaving us here to enjoy the loving kindness of the righteous souls in Ramallah.

As surrealistic as all of this sounds now, it is most important to remember that only terror organizations and Arab states used to deny Israel’s right to exist. Now this concept is coffee table talk throughout Europe. The denial of the right to exist always precedes physical annihilation. That is another important lesson of the Holocaust.

Tony Blair, the European Union’s envoy to the Mid-East, recently said that Europe would accept the Hamas as a negotiating partner, refusing to make that contingent on Hamas recognition of Israel’s right to exist. When officials of the stature of Power and Blair make these statements, they are charting the course for Western policy.

After the UN will recognize a Palestinian state at the 1967 borders, the Arabs will demand an Israeli retreat. To make sure we know they mean business, they will punctuate their demands with missiles on Israel’s cities. Israel will be forced to respond and the international coalition will rev up its motors to come save the peace.

All signs point to the fact that Israel is currently building the foundations for a Palestinian state and is planning an instant, southern-Lebanon-style retreat from Judea and Samaria. Something like, ‘Get on the buses now and we’ll explain later.’

But the Arabs don’t really want a state. All that they want is to end Jewish sovereignty in Israel. Their demands will intensify after Israel’s retreat from Judea and Samaria as per the Gush Katif aftermath model. They will demand the Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, right of return for their ‘refugees’, compensation payments, an international peace keeping force and what not. In the meantime, they will continue to bombard us with missiles. Israel’s military response will serve the West with its excuse to intervene. At this point, an exhausted Israel will have to decide: Either open the Ashdod port to the US Navy forces or fight against the entire world.

All of Israel’s ‘enlightened’ elites will unequivocally support opening Israel’s gates to the ‘Peacekeeping’ forces. From the President all the way down to the writers in the major newspapers, they will have no other solution. “And what is better?” they will ask. “Living in the shadow of the West, or fighting a war being forced upon us by Jewish fundamentalists?” The patriotic declarations being sounded today in the Likud will turn into ‘pragmatic’ rhetoric. The West is the very air that we breathe and the lesson of the Holocaust will be ignored.

The last thing that the policy-makers are capable of thinking is that we are a nation in our own merit, a nation that relies on its own ethical code. They will never come to terms with the fact that we are not Western or Eastern; we are simply Jews who, as opposed to 1948 – are not weak at all. We are a formidable economic and military power and are capable of extracting a terrible price from any country in the world that will threaten our sovereignty.

We will never even think that the entire problem does not exist in reality, but only in our minds. In other words, our psychological dependency on the West actually invites this scenario. No Western country would challenge our sovereignty if it had the slightest fear of an Israeli response. We are a lion that thinks it is a rabbit. But knowing this country, I do not expect that we will respond to threats on our sovereignty in the manner that any normal nation would respond. Instead, Israel will open its gates to the ‘Peacekeeping’ forces. The IDF will be disbanded and the rest of the story has already been experienced by the Jewish People throughout its long and painful history.

As a believing Jew, I pray that our Father in heaven will perform a miracle and that one year from now, you will be able to take this article and laugh at me. I am a great believer in the Nation of Israel and anticipate that unexpected energies will emerge in the nick of time to prevent this scenario.

As Independence Day approaches, we must say loudly and clearly: There is life after America. The struggle is not for the settlements. The danger is much more existential and all-inclusive. It is not military danger. It is not economic danger. The danger is our total collapse in a process that is all-too reminiscent of the fall of Czechoslovakia. The moment that a state entrusts its existence to other states that have other interests, its existence becomes transient.

It is urgent to cut the psychological ropes binding us to the West. We are not Americans. We are Israelis and we have an independent and strong faith and culture from which we draw our own existential legitimacy – not from the West.

There is life after America. Put it on stickers. Blog it. Write it on your social media. Broadcast it at rallies and wherever you can. We do not need American aid. All that we need is to return to our tried and true Jewish identity.

Israel Must Annex Judea and Samaria Now!

The Palestinian Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas is in Europe this week seeking to convince  Spain and Norway  to support the Palestinian bid to sidestep  negotiations with Israel and have the UN General Assembly recognize Palestinian  sovereignty over Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem and Gaza.  Fatah’s gambit, which will be played out at the United Nations  General Assembly, plus  its unity deal with Hamas are clear signs that the time has come for Israel to finally face the music: There  are only two realistic options for dealing with Judea and Samaria.

Either  the Palestinians will take control of Judea and Samaria, or Israel will annex  them.

If Israel allows Fatah/Hamas to move forward with it’s UN gambit, another terror state will be created with will be used as a forward operating base in the continuing war on Israel.  The Jerusalem post reported that  two-thirds of Palestinians  believe that negotiations should not lead to the establishment of the State of  Palestine next to Israel and at peace with the Jewish state. They believe the  establishment of “Palestine” next to Israel should serve as a means for  continuing their war against Israel. The goal of that war is to destroy what’s  left of Israel after the “peace” treaty and gobble it into “Palestine.”  Also noted is that 66%  of Palestinians believe “peace” talks with  Israel should be conducted in bad faith.  75% deny  Jewish ties to Jerusalem, and 80% support  jihad against Jews.  73% support the annihilation of the Jewish people as  called for in the Hamas charter on the basis of Islamic scripture.

2 Children Among 33 Hurt in Multiple Terror Attack; 6 Dead

Today, August 18th 2011,   the anniversary of the 1929 Jerusalem and Hebron massacres 83 years ago,  a four pronged terror attack on innocent Israeli civilians demonstrates that any peace with Fatah and Hamas is out of the question. Two very young children were among the 33 Israelis initially taken to Eilat’s small local Yoseftal Medical Center — the closest hospital — following the quadruple terrorist attack in Israel’s southern region. Seven of the most severely wounded were later airlifted to Be’er Sheva’s Soroka Medical Center. [Source – Arutz Sheva]

In response, Israel has taken the nation to its highest terror alert.  The terror attacks took place along Israel’s border with Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. The terrorists used automatic, anti-tank weapons, mortars and roadside bombs targeting two Israeli buses and civilians and military vehicles. In light of the terror attacks, the  United Nations decided Thursday to evacuate its foreign personnel from Gaza in fear that Israel will respond and take down known terrorist targets in the Gaza.   Defense Minister Ehud Barak said, adding “These attacks originate in Gaza and we will act against them with full force and resolve.”

Sources in Gaza also reported that Hamas has evacuated the headquarters of its ‘security forces’  fearing Israeli retaliation. The Prime Minister’s Office said Israel’s response to the attack would be swift.

Annex Judea And Samaria

In light of recent events and the push by the PA and certain world governments [such as the Quartet] to establish a terror nation in the midst of the Holy Land, Israel’s only viable option is to annex Judea and Samaria.  This of course will trigger condemnation from world leaders and riots in Israel.  But the other option is  far worse.

A campaign calling for all of Judea and Samaria to be made part of the sovereign state of Israel is  to be launched on Facebook.   As the PA prepares to ask the United Nations General Assembly to declare a Palestinian state unilaterally, a pressure campaign will begin Wednesday asking Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to unilaterally annex the West Bank. The campaign is the brainchild of Likud MK Danny Danon, who has sponsored a bill that would begin the process of making all of Judea and Samaria part of the sovereign state of Israel. The campaign will begin on Facebook, spread to top Israeli websites, and perhaps after that to the streets.  The campaign will call for the Israeli government to respond to the Palestinians’ unilateral step by taking a Zionist unilateral action of annexing the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria,” MK Danon said.

Please take the time to write Prime Minister Netanyahu and encourage him to do the right thing and make Judea and Samaria part of the State of Israel that it should have been all along.  Tell him Israel and the world cannot afford another terrorist nation in the Middle East.  Israel has a historic and legal right to Judea and Samaria.

Remember What Amalek Did to You on The Way…

As I have stated before on my blogs, the Palestinian people have demonstrated to any sane person that if given statehood, they would not only attempt to destroy Israel, but they would inevitably destroy themselves, their new State and even those Arab and Muslim states around them.  The Palestinians, as a whole, are a debased people, who love death more than they love to live.  The fact that they strap bombs on their children, paid for by Hamas and Hezbollah (which are nothing more than an extension of the Islāmic Republic of Iran), demonstrates their profound psychosis surrounding the death cult of radicalized Islamic ideology.  Even among their Arab brothers they are reviled.

If we can remember our history, the Jordanian civil war of September 1970, also known in the Arab world as Black September, was an attempt by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the more radical Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine to overthrow Jordanian King Hussein and seize control of the country. On Sept. 25, 1970, King Hussein and the PLO sign a cease-fire mediated by Arab nations. But the PLO’s last gasps were short-lived. Arafat and the PLO were expelled from Jordan by early 1971. They went to Lebanon, where they proceeded to create a similar state-within-a-state, weaponizing a dozen Palestinian refugee camps around Beirut and in South Lebanon, and destabilizing the Lebanese government as they had done in Jordan and playing a leading role in two wars–the 1973 war between the Lebanese army and the PLO, and the 1975-1990 civil war, where the PLO fought alongside leftist Muslim militias against Christian militias.

During the 1982 war the PLO was suffering de-moralizing losses at the hands of the IDF.  There are reports of PLO soldiers who were dragging civilians into hospitals and clinics in order to supply Arafat’s forces with blood for their wounded. Some of these unfortunate souls were completely drained of blood.

By September 1982, more than 14,000 PLO combatants had withdrawn. About 6,500 Al Fatah fighters sailed from Beirut. Most of the others crossed into Syria, and smaller contingents went to other Arab countries. As of 1987, it was believed that between 2,000 and 3,700 guerrillas were still in Syria, 2,000 were in Jordan, and smaller groups were quartered in Algeria, the Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen), the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen (South Yemen), Iraq, Sudan, and Tunisia. By 1988, however, many PLO fighters had filtered back into Lebanon. About 3,000 armed men aligned with Al Fatah were located in two camps near Sidon, forty kilometers south of Beirut, and an extra 7,000 fighters aligned with Syria reportedly were deployed in bases and refugee camps in eastern and northern Lebanon.  In 1982 the Lebanese government expelled the PLO from Lebanon.

The Palestinian Amalekite Spirit

On May 13, the Palestinians began their Nabka protest, hoping to kindle the fires of protest and revolt in Israel that has been seen in other Middle Eastern countries.  MEMRI interviewed a 92 year old Palestinian woman, Sara Muhammad ‘Awwadh Jaber,  who clearly has the Amalekite spirit who stated:

Allah willing, you will bury [Israel], and massacre the Jews with your own hands. Allah willing, you will massacre them like we massacred them in Hebron…I lived through the massacre of the Jews in Hebron. We, the people of Hebron, massacred the Jews. My father massacred them, and brought back some stuff…”

Don't Forget what Amalek Did to YouThe Amalekite spirit is one which rejoices in the slaughter of innocents – women, children, the elderly. They are a ruthless and cruel people, having no conscience or morality.  HaShem warned us to:

“Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you came out of Egypt; how he met you on the way, and cut down all the weak who straggled behind you, when you were weary and exhausted; and he did not fear God. Therefore, when HAShem your God will relieve you of all your enemies around you, in the land which HaShem your God gives you as an inheritance, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under Heaven. Do not forget! (Deuteronomy 25:17-19)

As Israel continues to return to HaShem, they will one day have to take up this final bit of business with the remnants of the Amalekite spirit.  Those who are infected with this spirit and stay unrepentant, will face destruction.  Sadly, many of the people who are with us today, have a destiny with doom.  HaShem will vindicate His people from those who try to steal His land and harm His special treasure – Israel.

O nations, sing the praises of His people. For He will avenge the blood of His servants, wreak vengeance on His foes, and cleanse the land of His people.  (Deuteronomy 32:43)

HaShem is at your right; He crushes kings on the day of His anger. He will judge the corpse-filled nations, He will crush the leader of the mighty land. (Psalm 110:5-6)
