Jesuit Pope Francis to be Tried by Sanhedrin

The re-established Israeli Sanhedrin, the High Court  of 71 Jewish sages, has declared that it is putting Pope Francis on trial unless he retracts his statement that the Jews have no right to the land of Israel or to Jerusalem. The Sanhedrin sent a letter to Pope Francis in reaction to the Vatican’s recent support of the Palestinian Authority’s unilateral moves to declare themselves a nation.

“Because the Vatican recognized the organization known as the Palestinian Authority as a nation, and has begun to refer to it as a nation in its documents. His honor has named the head of said authority as an ‘Angel of Peace’, as was explained by a spokesman for the Vatican, that his intention was to encourage Abu Mazen to advance towards peace. These actions, to our great dismay, are consistent with a long series of actions and stances that are as in the days of the Roman Catholic Religion, that swore to persecute Israel because we refused to accept their Messiah as the Messiah of Israel, and to renounce our faith. The recent announcements and actions of the Vatican are a rebuke to the Jewish Nation and to the Bible, which you use to interpret the prophecies, as if God has abandoned his original Nation of Israel. Reality has proven the opposite to be true.”

“We require from you an apology for your recognizing as a nation those who stole the land, those who are known as the Palestinian Authority, and we are informing the Vatican that the sole God given right to the land of Israel is to the Nation of Israel. If His Honor the Pope, and the Vatican, do not apologize within two weeks of receiving this letter, and if he does not change his ways, we shall judge these actions in the Court of Mount Zion, in a court of 71 Jewish elders of Zion, and enact the prophecy of ‘The liberators will rise up upon Mount Zion, to judge the Mountain of Esau and the kingdom shall be God’s’ (Obadiah 1:21). The court shall judge the Vatican in its presence or in absentia, and it is possible that the Vatican will be found guilty of anti-Semitism, as has been known to be done several times throughout history, and to place responsibility upon the Vatican for all of the outcomes of its actions.”

pope and abu mazenWe here at Calling Yisrael could not be more happy. The Catholic Church and it’s Vatican have been a blight upon the Jewish people for 1700 years. For all their apologies in recent years regarding the anti-Semitism and persecution the Catholic faith inflicted upon the Jewish people during it’s long and cruel ascent to power, the real intentions of Catholicism are now bearing down upon us. By endorsing the Palestinian state, it has summarily rejected, yet again, the rights of the true inheritors of the land of Canaan, now known as Eretz Israel.
Our rejection of their false messiah and their corrupted religion have always been a source of enmity between us. The same could be said for Islam. The Jewish people as a whole have never accepted the Christian messiah as the Messiah of Israel and never will. In the final analysis over the last 2000 years we did not accept it and are still alive and kicking. In out modern times the nation of Israel has been re-established and many scattered Jews have been brought home, still without compromise or acceptance of false gods. The nation has endured many wars to annilate her from the face of the earth. And during those harsh times, HaShem has shown up time after time, demonstrating miracle after miracle and dispatching His and Israel’s enemies. Yet we still have not accepted the false god-man or prophet. Israel continues to demonstrate kindness to both it’s friends and enemies but is badly maligned in the biased media. We still will not accept your false religions or bow down to them.
But soon the foreigners and powers, both secular and religious, that seek to subjugate the Jewish nation will be put down. The Messiah will come and fight the wars of HaShem, throw out the idolaters that defile the Land. The Temple will be rebuilt and the scattered tribes will be regathered into the bosom of the nation. Judgement will come upon the world. False religions will be cast out and destroyed – particularly the religions of wood and stone, Christianity and Islam who have done so much harm toward the Jewish people. May their names be blotted out from out memories.
Blesssed is the nation that trusts in her God, HaShem and his righteousness. It is he who is the Saviour of Israel, and no other. May His name be exalted and rejoiced in, to the end of the ages.

Obama – Enemy of Israel

The following article was sent to us from Ted Belman at Israpundit

By Amnon Lord

Now that the best and brightest have finished their comparisons with Munich and Chamberlain, I wish to provide another, somewhat more shocking, comparison, one that in the past, resulted in people calling for smelling salts.

In March 2010, I attempted to explain the American president’s seemingly incomprehensible behavior in simple terms, making use of the name Charles Lindbergh. The legendary pro-Nazi pilot surfaced again in Philip Roth’s novel “The Plot Against America”, published in 2004. Roth penned a novel based on speculative history (“what would have happened if…”)- in this case, what would have happened had Charles Lindbergh won the 1940 elections rather than FDR, the incumbent against whom he ran for president.

The great United States of America and the great land of Germany – the land that was, coincidentally, ruled at the time by that Chancellor named Adolf Hitler – would have developed ties of friendship and mutual accord. Roth waxed eloquent on the effects this would have had on American Jewry and on the resulting cooperation that would have developed between American Jewish leadership and the new anti-Jewish American government.

For nearly four years now, it has been clear that the then-new American president sees the world in a fashion that is diametrically opposed to what we expect from an American government. He disposed of the bust of Churchill that stood in the White House. All the historical narrative that contains the struggle of democracies against totalitarian regimes, the Munich agreement, appeasement, giving in, Chamberlain – all those are one story in his history book. Even the Spanish Civil War is irrelevant. In his book there are imperialism, colonialism, Zionist aggression and peoples that awaken and rebel. That is how, in 2010, this Lindbergh-style president supported Argentina in the renewed hostilities that developed between that country and Great Britain over the Falkland Islands.

By the beginning of 2010, when Obama began a political siege on Israel for building in Jerusalem while evincing goodwill gestures such as stretching out a hand towards Ahmadinejad’s Iran, shaking hands with and hugging Chavez as well as offering US friendship to the then president of Brazil, Lula de Silva, it seemed clear that the American president felt that the world was ready for the Chavesian, Ahmadinejadian and Bashar-Assadian style of leadership.

Obama simply prefers Iran over Israel.
On his visit to Israel in March 2010, the above-mentioned Lula pointedly refrained from laying a wreath on Herzl’s grave; he most decidedly did not refrain from laying one on Arafat’s grave. This is the world in which the American president feels at home, the one he sees himself leading.

The agreement signed with the Iranians in Geneva sets a new record for the about-face in policy that characterizes the US government under Obama.

Obama’s policy is not centered on neutralizing Iran’s nuclear power. It is centered on the beginning of a wonderful friendship with the Ayatollahs whose regime has not retreated from plans to destroy Israel and which has not abandoned its worldwide terror network.

The secret communications channel, the details of which were revealed in the Maariv Hebrew newspaper magazine cover story, proves that there is a change in orientation and not a concerted diplomatic effort to prevent nuclearization. In the not-too-distant future, we will see Obama on a historic visit to Tehran and watch him shake the hand of the “Supreme Spiritual Leader”.

The fact that Obama has adopted a Lindberghian policy doesn’t mean that in this new context he is not being realistic. The worrisome reality is that the relative strengths in the much-discussed, historical hostility between Sunnis and Shiites in the Middle East, are not balanced, this according to a reliable security source with access to intelligence data. Syria is the main area for this struggle and what the US and Israel see is that the Shiites, backed by Iran, are a solid power with the ability to control and carry out a clear policy.

In contrast, the Sunnis do not have any real power at this point. They are fragmented. The Syrian opposition has not proved that it is internally cohesive and can control and keep order in major sections of Syria, let alone in Iraq. They were unable to retain power even in Egypt, where the Muslim Brotherhood won control. So the Americans handed over Iraq, Syria and Lebanon to Iran.

There is no doubt that President Obama knows very well that he is turning into a partner of leaders who have committed crimes against humanity and a friend of those who declare their intentions of doing so. No problem. He simply prefers Iran over Israel.

In addition, it must be added, that in terms of the past, Israel also preferred the forces known today as Shiite: Iran, the Lebanese Shiites (who became the Hezbollah), for example. But in Obama’s case, strategic realism is simply a cover-up for ideological preference.

Obama also prefers to place a wreath on the grave of Ayatollah Khoumeini rather than those of Herzl or Ben Gurion.

This May Sound Terrible, but….

Amir Oren, the Haaretz writer who acts as if he is an American source of influence, had a slip of the tongue last week when he said:

“..This is the reason for the adamant refusal of 5 presidents over 28 years to forgive Pollard. The man himself is not important to America, the punitive and preventive lesson his story teaches Israel is what counts: don’t be a wise guy and don’t show off…Netanyahu, in this regard, is liable to become a political Pollard.”

It is probably accurate to say that Amir Oren is threatening us. But who has sent him? Who is behind him? After all, Oren himself is of no importance. What is important is what he is telling us about the real American use of Pollard. The same point was taken on Israel’s Channel 2 “Facts” show and in another article by Nahum Barnea (famous columnist, ed.) on relations between the US and Israel. Barnea, unlike Oren, is not confused about where his loyalties lie. He is an Israeli and a patriotic one. He does not think that the Americans are wise or justified in torturing one of their own citizens this way. He has a different spin, comparing Pollard with the freeing of the Iranian scientist within the framework of the Iran agreement.

The slip of the tongue at the beginning of last week was meant to remind former/retired Israeli security personnel that they had better continue to cooperate with the Americans in their anti-Israeli government policies, given that the basic premise is that what is good for the USA is not good for Israel.

I know. It sounds terrible. But the highest ranking security personnel in Israel see what happened to certain persona over the years because of the Pollard and other sagas. Rafi Eitan (who was Pollard’s handler) cannot enter the USA. Aviam Sela’s (the Israeli general who planned the Osirak attack) budding career was destroyed by American dictates. Amos Yaron (Dir.Gen. of the Defense Ministry during the Sabra and Shatila massacre) has problems. Even (former Mossad head) Yuval Diskin once had trouble getting a visa to the USA.

And even more telling: there is a great demand – and rightly so – for the skills of Israeli security people in various industries here. They combine vast knowledge with diplomatic ability that ordinary businessmen lack. And developing weapons exports vitalizes the Israeli economy – but some of this trade requires American authorization and is dependent on the US.

Therefore, as awful as it sounds, it is quite possible to envisage a situation where top level Israeli security persona fall into line with US directives in an unwritten agreement: i.e. we will back your positions in exchange for freedom of employment. Wikileaks documents exposed the terrible blabbing of Israeli security and intelligence personnel at the American Embassy; one can only imagine what they say when they are actually in the US.

So Pollard serves as the stick; and as far as concerns the carrot, I suggest taking a look at how for many years top policy-makers have said that Saudi Arabia – and even Bill Clinton said it – is the pension fund of retired American government officials: Say what we want you to say, announce policies that we like, and at retirement, accept a lucrative job at our expense.

I know it sounds just terrible when it is applied to our people.

And what about former prime ministers? Let us just say that in the marketplace of lectures at universities and various institutes, Ehud Olmert is not paid to talk about the exciting cultural renaissance in Israel nor about its hi-tech. He is paid to sell Israel and its government down the river for the highest available price.

Moshe Feiglin’s Message to Obama

This column was translated from the Hebrew version, which appeared in Makor Rishon.

We have reached the red line for Jonathan Pollard. If President Obama doesn’t bring our brother, Jonathan, who has been captive in his country for 28 years, with him to Israel, he is liable to die in prison, God forbid. With this heavy ethical weight on our necks, this horrible betrayal of an agent that we sent to risk his life for us, we may all be thrown into a reality that begins with a “small” destruction at Ma’aleh Rehavam – with seemingly no end in sight.

There is a connection between the two. When you are not loyal to your brother, when you do not practice basic solidarity, when there is no moral glue that ties you to your brother rotting in jail – everything falls apart. If we have disengaged from Pollard, then get ready for the next Disengagement – in the name of security, of course. And get ready for a solution regarding the Iranian problem – brought to you by Uncle Sam.

In the end, we will find ourselves without Pollard, without Judea and Samaria, without the Americans, and with a nuclear Iran. Just like in the Lodz ghetto, where they gave up a few poor children to save all the rest. Nothing has changed since then. The Jews are the same Jews, and the mindset is also the same.

Last week I called upon my fellow Knesset members to boycott Obama’s Knesset speech if he does not bring our brother, Jonathan, with him. Meanwhile, in the face of the approaching political tsunami, we are all busy bickering over the proverbial tempests in the teapot.

When it comes to the haredi draft issue, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. After all, the last thing that Yair Lapid wants is for the IDF to suddenly grow a long beard and put on a black suit. And the IDF does not want or need the extra manpower, as it already drafts many more recruits than it really needs. On the other side of the coin, there are many young haredi men who want to serve in the Army and work – namely, lead normal lives. Here’s the problem: the IDF does not offer them enough frameworks that are appropriate to their levels of observance. Nobody actually expects them to exercise with women instructors. So what is the debate really all about? It’s about political capital.

The second tempest in the teapot is jumpstarting the “peace process.” What are they talking about? In all of history, there has never been a collection of people for whom the entire world, including those who should surrender their sovereignty, has rallied full force to recognize a state – and the state has not even been born. A Palestinian state will never be born because Golda Meir was right. There is no Palestinian nation and this non-nation harbors a primal fear of a state. Just look at how Arab MK Ahmad Tibi and company reacted when then-Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman made his generous offer to move the border west of their towns, effectively removing them from Israel proper.

The goal of Palestinian self-definition is not sovereignty in the land of Israel, but rather the negation of Jewish sovereignty in the land. That is why a Palestinian state has never been established in Judea and Samaria and why there was never such a demand when Jordan or any other Muslim entity ruled here. Their focus has always been on the very last centimeter of Jewish sovereignty in the land of Israel. As then-British Foreign Minister Ernest Bevin defined the issue at the League of Nations when the British returned their mandate over the land of Israel to the world body: “The goal of the Jews in the land of Israel is to establish a state for the Jews in the land. The goal of the Arabs in the land of Israel is to ensure that the Jews do not establish a state in the land of Israel.”

The tsunami is approaching, and the Jews in the land of Israel are fighting over total non-issues. If it weren’t so sad, it would be comical.

It’s time to get serious.

Israel Government is Expelling Jews – Again!

Snub the Hague!

David Wilder May 14, 2012

(…) A short time before Passover a group of Jews moved into a newly purchased building in Hebron. Named Beit HaMachpela, the property is situated within the complex containing Ma’arat HaMachpela, the tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, just opposite a large parking lot, used by tourists arriving at this holy site. The building was legally purchased; Hundreds of thousands of dollars passed hands. One of the Arabs involved in the deal was arrested by the palestinian authority and sentenced to death. Sale of property to Jews is a capital offence, according to PA law.
Within days, following a government decision to leave the people in the house for at least a few weeks, until further investigations could be concluded, Netanyahu gave (…) a green light to expel the building’s residents (…).
Last night HaAretz correspondent Chaim Levinson published an article citing the ostensible reason for the expulsion: Fear of the goyim.
Levinson writes: (AG) Weinstein reportedly told (PM) Netanyahu and (DM) Barak that the expropriation of Palestinian land and homes, such as the Hebron takeover, could lead to Israeli officials being indicted at the International Criminal Court in The Hague…Sources in the Justice Ministry indicated that they fear the State of Israel or Israeli officials could be charged by the ICC, in operation since 2002. According to the Fourth Geneva Convention, an occupier moving population into occupied land constitutes a war crime.
Accordingly, Netanyahu gave Barak the green light to throw the Jews out. There are a few minor issues here.
1. First, is the use of the word ‘expropriate’ (l’hafkiya in Hebrew). This is defined as dispossession of ownership, usually by a ruling power or government. In other words, any legal purchase by Jews from Arabs in Hebron, or perhaps anywhere in Judea and Samaria, is viewed, by the Attorney General of the State of Israel, as ‘expropriation.’ Purchase is ‘dispossession of ownership.’ It makes no difference that the property was purchased for legal tender. It makes no difference if the party selling the property agreed to the sale, and preferring cash to real estate.
2. The attempt to use the Fourth Geneva Convention to prevent Jews from purchasing property has already been disproven by the Israeli government itself. A position paper, published on May 20, 2001, by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, clearly states:International humanitarian law prohibits the forcible transfer of segments of the population of a state to the territory of another state which it has occupied as a result of the resort to armed force. This principle…was intended to protect the local population from displacement, including endangering its separate existence as a race, as occurred with respect to the forced population transfers in Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary before and during the war. This is clearly not the case with regard to the West Bank and Gaza. The attempt to present Israeli settlements as a violation of this principle is clearly untenable. As Professor Eugene Rostow, former Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs has written: “the Jewish right of settlement in the area is equivalent in every way to the right of the local population to live there” (AJIL, 1990, vol. 84, p.72).

The provisions of the Geneva Convention regarding forced population transfer to occupied sovereign territory cannot be viewed as prohibiting the voluntary return of individuals to the towns and villages from which they, or their ancestors, had been ousted.

3. After all of this, since when (…) should the Prime Minister of Israel fear being charged with war crimes as a result of settlement of Eretz Yisrael – the Land of Israel?! Buying a house in Hebron is a war crime?!?!?

Roosevelt said the only thing to fear, is fear itself. (…) G-d did not command us to fear Hague, certainly not people, who, if they had their way, would have prevented the rebirth of our people in our land, people who did nothing to prevent extermination of between six to seven million Jews a few decades ago, people, whose governments participated, actively or passively, with Nazi Germany.

The Prime Minister of Israel, together with his government, should be an exemplary model of Jewish faith, of Jewish attributes, of Jewish pride and courage.

Israel Warns Neighbors Over March to Jerusalem

Israel warns neighbors against attempted breaches of its borders during the ‘Global March to Jerusalem’.

By Elad Benari, Canada

First Published: 3/23/2012, 10:41 PM http://www.israelna tionalnews. com/News/ News.aspx/ 154090
As activists are planning to lead a Global March to Jerusalem next Friday, Israel has warned neighboring countries that it would forcefully respond to attempted breaches of its borders.
The Global March to Jerusalem initiative aims at getting over one million Arabs and their supporters to attempt to infiltrate Israel’s borders on March 30th. A spokesman for the march said last week the initiative “demand[s] freedom for Palestine and its capital Jerusalem.”
The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) has presented information that Iran is behind the initiative and openly supports it. The march has also been endorsed by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who was U.S. President Barack Obama’s pastor for 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.  Diplomatic sources told the London-based Asharq Alawsat newspaper on Friday that Israel has sent messages to the governments of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, the Hamas government in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority regarding the planned march.
The report said that in the messages Israel made it clear that anyone who will come near its borders would be considered an infiltrator and the IDF will act against him with full force.
Israel also reportedly demanded that Arab countries not allow an escalation of the tension in the region through marches toward its borders. Channel 10 News, which cited the Asharq Alawsat report, said that the Israeli Foreign Ministry and Prime Minister’s Office refused to comment on the report. Earlier this week, radio host Aaron Klein of WABC radio in New York offered $50,000 to an organizer of the Global March to Jerusalem, if he could name one city in the Middle East, outside of Israel, that has more freedom than Jerusalem. The activist was unable to do so.

Ron Paul is Right on Iran and the Israeli’s Agree

Most of our political leaders who are running for President in 2012, Democrat and Republican alike, are drumming up support for a military strike on Iran.  These political ‘talking heads’ are suggesting that Iran is an existential threat to Israel and the US and are preparing the public for a war against Iran.   Ron Paul says that Iran is not an existential threat to Israel and can handle the Iranians themselves and both Prime Minister Netanyahu and the head of the Mossad agree.

While it is obvious that Iran is a threat to Middle East peace, it is no match for the Israelis and any declarations of an existential threat seem to be coming mainly from the American Military Industrial Complex to expand their failing empire.
